The rejection rate for the Excli Journal is over 90%.

Due to the large number of submissions, we must adhere to our selection criteria and therefore reject a substantial proportion of manuscripts. We only have the resources and capacity to publish about 100 articles per year. Therefore, we have the capacity to publish only approximately one out of ten submitted manuscripts and sometimes even have to reject well-sound manuscripts (which is certainly no pleasure!). Nevertheless, we try to do this as fairly as possible

Many submissions have to be rejected due to formalities. Please be sure to read the instructions for authors so that we can possibly select you for the review process.
